Mechanics

The Twisted Forest is a mechanically simple game, the most interesting part is the enemy AI. It stalks the player in the woods by displaying glowing red eyes in the background, if the player maintains sustained eye contact with the eyes they will vanish and the player will be safe for a period of time (between 15-30 seconds). If the player walks out of the radius or waits too long, they will get a game over screen. Apart from this the game has a simple flashlight system and movement.
